My father has always been a hard worker, he earned all the fame and recognition for himself. I always wondered what I wanted to be when I grew up that would earn me the same respect and love which I could be passionate for. The question was hard but to be honest.. I never thought I’d take a road that was so enchanting and fulfilling. A road which I had to sacrifice my youth, blood, sweat and muscles for.

When I was young I moved to Mumbai for a while where I made friends online and played DotA 2 casually, however all my friends were into CSGO. On 1st June 2013 on my birthday my friends gifted me CSGO and from then I used to play with them casually. I had to shift back to Delhi and my pc was back at Mumbai. My love for csgo had grown so much that I couldn’t go a day without it and after some begging my dad started dropping me at Extreme Gaming cafe. I made a lot of friends in the cafe too who were just like me, CSGO lovers.

One fine day after gaming we were all sitting and talking/relaxing where they jokingly said “You won’t be able to achieve anything in this game, let it go.”. That stirred up something inside me because I replied “From this day, within a year, we’ll see how true that sentence will be.” and from then on I didnt see day or night. I worked on my grind like it was gonna be my life’s work and like I said, 1 year later I was given an offer letter from Team Brutality in 2015 and and that was just a big reveal of my journey to the summit.

Youngest IGL and Team Captain? Best player of India 2016? Top 5 players 2017, 2018 and 2019? Represented India Internationally? Multiple MVP Awards? I’ve won them all. I’ve made mistakes, lost fights but I grew tougher, stronger and never backed down. The professional players I used to look up to when I was a kid in the crowd? I’ve played with and against them all. I’ve reigned over my battlefield and kingdom for long.. the time has come that I take my rest in CSGO.

I thank you, CSGO, for teaching me how to be mature, how to communicate and come out of my shell, how to get a grip on my fear and nervousness and use it to sharpen my sense, how to analyse when all hope was lost, how to stay loyal to my people who looked up to me, my teammates who depended on me and people who had expectations from me to get trophies that my wrist pained to lift. You will always be my love.. CSGO.

All that said.. A new battlefield, a new kingdom is calling my name and Valorant I shall dominate you too.
