“Inspired by experiencing lock-down due to the pandemic of Covid-19,
provoked by the visit of swallows, a pause during their immigration,
this video is an allegory on our addictions and healing.
Addiction to drugs is characterized by the intense, compulsive desire to obtain and use a drug, regardless of the negative effects on themselves and others.
Over time, it causes noticeable and predictable changes in the user’s brain that make it extremely difficult to quit using, even when the negative effects of using become unbearable.
Healing is an ongoing process, usually accompanied by relapses, driven from bio-psycho-social perspectives and personal history/memory.
Even if presence seems intolerable, right there, at the core of this pause, I make a wish for
finding availability for self compassion, honesty and love.”
