THE GREEN LIGHT PROJECT
The Green Light Project aims to give participants the permission they might not even have known
they were waiting for; the green light to be more present, to connect and to expand. The combination
of content and context of this piece are designed to act as an interruption to the default routine of
daily life. Disturbed from autopilot, participants may come into presence, experience more
connection and become inspired to share more and pay it forward.
The video acts as a psycho-geographic force drawing people into the experience. The video will move autonomously, interacting with viewers in a playful way, beckoning them to become participants and investigate further. It consists of dreamy, surreal imagery designed to transport participants from space into realized being. Wood tokens fit together like a puzzle as the backdrop for the projection. Participants will be encouraged to take these tokens, which bare the message,
share more love, pay it forward, to gift to a stranger, providing a platform for connection and giving participants permission to break through the unwritten rules of alienation that sit heavy above contemporary urban life.
