“We have to get through the dystopia, to realise the utopia.” Skepta, Dystopia987. MIF, 2019.
No-one would have expected, that on a dark and rainy night out in Manchester the ultimate cosmic destination transforms the physical being from a dystopian city into a transcendent utopian multiverse.
The sound art visual composition of the bass odyssey is a psycho sonic journey beginning in the terrestrial world moving in infrasonic space through the swirling kaleidoscopic frenzied vestiges of a dystopian city.
Projecting us from the known into the unknown multi-dimensional realms are skisms of visceral dis-embarkation and dis-embodiment, coercing us, revealing and dissolving the boundaries between our dystopian and utopian worlds.
Bass warped-visuals pulse dark and shimmering; blurring overlays of sonic transferences connecting with intergalactic waves of vivid patterns in consciousness shape us into and beyond the anthropocentric zones of everyday materialism we unconsciously desire and inhabit.
The Phantom Interceptor:
The Phantom Interceptor, a cosmic musical force has arrived on planet Earth! His mission is to elevate the mind and body of anyone searching for an alternative to the mundane.
The Phantom interceptor is a dualistic concept from the mind of Low Frequency Bass Architect and Composer/Producer Robert Murray. Murray combines authentic and irresistible bass structures with hi-tech innovation and creativity, to present an alternative world of bass!
DEMM is about abstract visuals, sonorous sibilant sketchy sound scapes, amorphous sculptures, infrasonic installations and anti-positive action performances. (watch this space..:)
